Roosevelt has many wonderful programs that just would not run without the time, energy and resources of parents, guardians and other volunteers.

As the school year draws to a close we still have several Board positions (Co-Presidents, Secretary and Recreational Treasurer) and several Committee positions (Membership, Landscaping, etc.) that we need to fill for the 2009 - 2010 school year. Some of these are once/twice a month commitments, others are a one-time, short-term commitment while still others are ongoing, monthly commitments.

Check the 2009 - 2010 PTSA Roster for open positions. The PTSA Job Descriptions document will provide you with more details on some of these positions. If you have more questions, please contact a current PTSA Board or Committee member listed on the PTSA page.

So what are the benefits? You get to be in the know early on about issues and events at our school. You get to meet and know more of the staff and teachers. You get to work with other parents you might never meet any other way. The work can be really gratifying and when you volunteer for the PTSA, your efforts help every parent and student in the school.
