Class of 2010 Senior Events
It’s hard to believe, but our students will be graduating this year! Here’s the scoop on the fun, end-of-the-year events for seniors which celebrate this lifetime milestone.
Check back frequently for updates to these events. Dates, costs and ticket sales dates have been set for Prom, SPREE and the Senior Luncheon. Please note that the price of SPREE tickets is now $125, the full cost of the event. All of the subsidized tickets were sold during the past three months at the regularly scheduled ticket dates.
Please note that Senior Luncheon following the senior practice for graduation is on June 16th, and Graduation and Spree take place on the following day, June 17.
Delivery of Graduation Announcements and Cap and Gowns
Seniors - if you ordered graduation announcements or a cap and gown from Grad Products earlier in the year, these will be delivered to RHS as follows:

Senior Prom - May 15
Senior Prom, Sat., May 15, Columbia Tower Club, 701 5th Ave. #7500, (5th & Columbia, 75th floor).
Cost: $40

Ticket Sale Dates: February 9th and 11th, March 9th and 11th, and April 13th and 15th - at school during lunch in the Concession Stand. Please purchase your tickets early to help us make our deposits!
Formal Attire Dance for Seniors (underclassmen may attend at the invitation of a senior). Dancing, music, photos (extra cost). Parking: Park on the street or in Columbia Tower Club parking lot. Chairperson - Karen O'Connor at kj.oconnor@comcast.net.
Senior Awards Night - June 2nd
Senior Awards Night, June 2nd, evening, in the RHS Auditorium/Theatre
Honoring students who have won scholarships either privately or from the college they will attend.
Last Day of School/Senior Check-out - June 14th
All graduating seniors must go through the "senior check-out" process before leaving school on June 14th. You must receive signatures from all teachers and clear all outstanding fines, fees and debts before you can receive a signature from Holly Poulias. The student’s counselor will then be the final stop and final signature. Questions? The graduation letter to be mailed in mid-May will have more information on this.
PTSA-Sponsored Senior Luncheon - June 16
Senior Luncheon, Wed., June 16, noon-1:30 p.m (tentative time)., St. Demetrios Church (tentative location).
Cost: $10 - luncheon, entertainment, and slide show presentation. Students transported by yellow school buses from graduation practice in the gym.

Graduation Rehearsal - June 16
Graduation Rehearsal, RHS Gym, Weds., June 16, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. (tentative time)
Attendance by every graduating senior is mandatory, as you will receive final seating instructions at that time. For questions, contact Melissa Boswell, RHS Activity Director, 252-4810.
Graduation - June 17
Graduation, Thurs., June 17, Memorial Stadium, Seattle Center, 8 p.m.

PTSA-Sponsored SPREE - June 17
Senior Party "SPREE", Thurs., June 17, 10 p.m. - 6 a.m on June 18.
Cost: $125 All-night, substance-free party immediately following graduation. Music, dancing, entertainment, games and food. Meet in stadium parking lot near EMP in comfortable clothing for transportation by yellow school buses to the venues. Buses return to RHS on Friday, 6 a.m.

Senior Yearbook Photo Deadline Passed
October 30th was the last day to have your senior photo taken by the Rowland Studios for the yearbook. Rowland photos are the only senior portraits accepted for publication in the senior class section of the yearbook. Roosevelt has a tradition of a very classic-looking yearbook and part of this tradition is the senior section, with students in formal wear with the same background.
Cap and Gown Orders - Past Due But Still Available
Seniors can still order their graduation announcements, caps and gowns, class rings, and all other accessories from Grad Products.

Yearbook - Senior Grad Ads - January 31, 2010 Deadline
One way to honor your graduating senior and submit your own, personal favorite photo is to purchase space for a Senior Grad Ad.
It's time to find those cute baby pictures and write those timeless graduation wishes for the yearbook. The yearbook is accepting your Grad Ads now through January. Download the order form or get one from the RHS Main Office and send it to Janine Magidman.
